I am working on getting a new blog set up.  I am moving to blogger, need a change of scenery.  I am working on the template and stuff right now, but thought I would give you all the heads up so you can start changing your bookmarks.

I hate thinking up titles...

Nothing much going on right now, but I do have a few things so I thought that I would post.  First of all, we started a weight loss challenge over at the Digi Shoppe.  I am posting a layout challenge each Monday and if you complete all the challenges each week at the end of the month you get a cool freebie.  Here is the kit you get this month.

I had a job interview today.  I don't think I got it, but it would be nice if I did.  It is for 20 hours a week at the library.  I would be working 4 hours a day 5 days a week just covering lunches.  Hopefully I will find out tomorrow.

I don'e have too much else going on so I am gonna go for now! 

Where have I been...?

{MIA}    
I haven't really been, but I have now spent alot of time on the computer this past week.  I started reading a Trilogy of books last week and I just couldn't put them down and I finished the 3rd one last night.  I am a huge Nora Roberts fan and this was her latest the "In the Garden" trilogy.  Awesome books!  I get a little caught up when I read and I just can't stop until I am done.  It works out for the kids though because they get to play outside when I sit on the picnic table and read!

{UDS Contest}
I did not make it into the 3rd round and although I was a little upset/disappointed in the beginning.  I realize now how petty that was and, in fact, now I am kind of glad that I didn't get through.  I have no doubt that I could have produced a good layout for this round, but I know that I wouldn't have made it through this one.  I am just glad that it's one less thing that I have to worry about getting done.

{Paper Scrapping}
I have come to a decision about the whole paper scrapping supplies thing.  I have been wrestling with this decision for a few weeks.  I started paper scrapping when Bailey was born and I was happily going along buying stuff here and there and almost 2 years ago I discovered that I could sell albums and paper piecings on e-bay.  I did that for a little over a year and my paper scrapping "stash" probably quadrupled in that time.  During the time that I sold on e-bay I rarely scrapped for myself.  I got totally burned out on that towards the end of last year so I stopped scrapping.  I discovered the world of Digital Scrapping at the end of December and since that time I have created over 80 pages for myself.  I have an over-abundance of paper supplies and I have finally decided that I am going to go through it and keep a few things that I really like and sell the rest on e-bay.  I want a new SLR camera and I am going to use the money from what I sell to get my camera.

I know I am late on this one, but here is my opinion nonetheless!  I was so glad to see Elliot go.  I think that the judges are too harsh with Katharine.  Why don't they compare the men to the original singer like they do her?  She can't sing a Whitney Houston song because there is no way she sould ever sing as good as Whitney so she picks an obscure old song that probably no one BUT the judges has ever heard and they STILL say she isn't as good as the original singer!  Well DUH, if she were as good as the original singer she wouldn't have to be on your stupid show to get a contract.  So, I know I said I wasn't going to watch anymore, but now Jake wants to see who wins so he tapes it.  I hope Kat wins and I will be voting for her this Tuesday.

{Layouts}
I think that I scrapped 5 layouts last week and I have only done 2 this week so far.  I still have to get my appetizer recipe card done for the Digi Shoppe swap.  I will get that done tonight.  I am not going to post them all so you will just have to see this weeks layouts in the galleries.  Speaking of galleries...is everyone feeling neglected in the galleries lately?  I know I have, in fact I have layouts that are getting no comments at all and very few views.  I have been trying to leave comments when I am posting my layouts, but I haven't been good about it this week since I have spent so much time off the computer.  I am going to try to get in there and give some love tonight.

Well, I need to get my house cleaned up.  Sarah is taking the older 2 kids to the movies so it will just be Dillon and I here so I should be able to get alot done.  Have a great rest of the weekend!

I gotta tell you how good this was!  I added the sour cream, but it was a hit and I have tons left over.  I will definitely be making this one again.  If you want the recipe Gina posted it on her blog this morning.

Not much going on around here.  It is sunny but cool today.  It's been raining so much that the kids are getting tired of having to stay in the house and honestly, they are driving me nuts too!!  I have been living in pajamas all week.

I did get 2 pages scrapped yesterday.  I haven't got any done today, but I should be able to get at least one done this evening.  I am trying to get all caught up with my CT stuff.  Speaking of CT stuff, if you have zoo pictures you have to get Nikki's new kit Wild Things.  It will be available in The Digi Shoppe tomorrow.  Here is a sneak peak.

Isn't it awesome!  There are some really great unique elements in that element pack.  You gotta run and get it!

I totally forgot about this...WHAT THE HECK IS AMERICA THINKING....voting Chris off like that???  I am a Katharine fan, but I really thought that it would be her this week.  I am taking a stand right now, I will NOT watch another season of AI.  I said it in the beginning that if Chris got booted before the end it was my last season and I am standing by that.  He, obviously, will have no problem getting a record deal and I have NO doubt that he will be a BIGGER STAR than whoever does make it to the end.  Enough said!!

I have been working on this all day!  You would not believe how many papers I opened up before I decided on these!  I am also in the process of downloading the prize kit for doing the first round.  It it HUGE!  There are 3 files, over 235M total!  I am on the 3rd one and definitely glad I am not still on dial up.

Well, since I have been scrapping all morning, I need to get something done this afternoon!

On to round 2...

Well, I made it through the first round of the Ultimate Digi Scrap contest.  This round is gonna be tougher and they are eliminating 100 this round.  90 were eliminated last night!  This round is a page about me, how I see myself.  In a way I am looking forward to doing it, but I just hope I can do it well.  This time I will post a link to my page.  I was unsure about it this past round, but now that I know it's okay to do, you will be able to see the page even though I can't post the actual page here.

This is just a really quick post to tell you all that if you love paper tears for your digital scrapping, you HAVE to go over to Digital Paper Tearing and check out the NSD sale that Steph is having.  I just picked up her new flower tear and Alpa Tear packs for less than $6.00.  Great bargain!!  The sale is today only!  I have vowed that even though all the sites are having sales I will NOT spend any more money on kits right now.  I have TOO many that I haven't used.  I do plan on hitting the TDC sale on the 13th though, so I am saving my money!!

Now I only have one layout to show you, in fact I am still in the process of getting it all saved.

I'm still here....

I have just been so busy and really not feeling all that well.  I don't know if it's allergies or a bug, but my throuat has been hurting the past few days and I have been having headaches, etc...

I finished up my big ABC album today and as soon as I find a box big enough for it it will be on it's way to a little boy named Luke.  It turned out really cute and ended up being really fun to put together, except for all the time on Google looking for pictures to make into paper piecing patterns!  I think I am going to list on e-bay next week as a custom.

I entered the Ultimate Dig Scrap contest over at Digi Scrappin Biz and posted my layout for that on Tuesday.  I LOVE how my layout turned out and I can't wait until Sunday to hear who made it though to the next round.  I saw that they are cutting like 170 so I have my fingers crossed that I will be in the nearly 200 that they keep.  There are TONS of gorgeous layouts over there.  I don't even think that I have made it through all of them yet.

I did manage to get 2 layouts done yesterday, well 1 and I finished the 2nd one this morning.  I have gotten a ton of great kits from the new Creative Teams that I am on so these 2 layouts are from those and I still have roughly 10 more layouts to do!  I am going to stay up and scrap tonight and hopefully I can get a bunch done.  I am going to leave you with my newest layouts.

More Exciting News...

As you can see over there to the left I have more exciting news.  I am now a part of Nikki's newly formed Creative Team!  I am so excited about this position and as Nikki happens to be one of my "online" buddies it makes it even more special.  I think that I am going to call it quits and not apply for any more teams.  I don't want to flood myself with too much work and I really think that the 3 teams that I am on deserve my best work and I don't think that adding to my workload will be giving them my best results.  I have so many awesome designs to work with now!  I need to get cracking!!

I am up to 'M' on my big ABC album.  I am thinking that I should be done by Wednesday at the latest.  It is really shaping up and turning into a really cute book.  If I can get some good pictures today I will post them later or maybe tomorrow.  If all goes well, I may offer this as a one time special deal to my former e-bay customers and then jack up the price a bit to cover my fees and offer it ONE time on e-bay.  It's a big book and would be an awesome deal for anyone looking for an ABC album for a child.  And it's totally custom so the buyer gets to choose just about everything.  E-mail me if you are at all interested and I will work up a deal for you!

Well, I have no new pages to show you since I have been working on this album, but I have some ideas and some awesome new kits so I may have something for you tomorrow!

More layouts...

Since it rained the better part of the week I did get a few more layouts done.  I have been working on some paper stuff too.  Tomorrow is going to be a big paper scrapping day for me.  Tomorrow Jake is taking the boys to town tomorrow morning so I will be elbow deep in an ABC album.  I am going to try to get as much done as I can while they are gone.  Hopefully  I will be able to get it all done by the end of next week.  I have never done an album this big before!  I am also working on the kits for my LSS.  The paper has been ordered and as soon as it get here I will be super busy with those.  I may be scarce around here until I get all this stuff done.

As usual there is nothing exciting going on here that is worth re-telling so I am just going to leave you with these layouts.
